| Sumario: | This article evaluates a diffusion project based on a model which employs a limited number of personnel to promote diffusion on a large scale basis. The project mentioned in the article is the Colorado Elementary Science Project, a state-wide program to provide in-service education and assist school districts in the implementation of new elementary school science curricular programs. Based on the model upon which the project is based, the following recommendations are presented. First, the active participation with each school district should be extended by an additional 5 to 12 months. Second, the extensive efforts should be devoted to involving building principals in all aspects of the program. Third, more extensive efforts should be devoted to solving the equipment problem.
