| Sumario: | This article focuses on the progress of secondary education in the U.S. Today, over 80 percent of eligible students are in school compared to 10 percent in 1900. Also, nowadays, guidance and testing programs are created to assist the student in building a suitable program of studies from an expanded offering. Problem solving has become the base of methodology in the modern high school. It is assumed that every student will succeed in progressing toward a greater self-realization and eventually graduate. The capacity of the high school to advance so rapidly has been in part due to its administrative resiliency. |
