It highlights the Novo Nordisk Network for Healthy Populations (NHP) at the University of Toronto, established in 2021, which employs implementation science to address diabetes through a multi-level framework targeting healthcare delivery, community engagement, and structural determinants of health. Using Peel Region in Ontario, Canada, as a living lab, the NHP collaborates with diverse stakeholders to co-develop culturally sensitive interventions and policy changes aimed at reducing health inequities.
