| Sumario: | This research focused on Instagram addiction and its relationship with traumatic experiences, mental well-being, and religiosity among Palestinian Muslims, utilising a sample of 504 adults (368 women, 136 men). Assessments included the Brief Trauma Questionnaire, Instagram Addiction Scale, Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale, and Daily Spiritual Experiences Scale. Stepwise linear regression analysis identified significant predictors: educational attainment (β =.11; * p <.01), psychological well-being (β = −.11; * p <.05), religiosity (β = −.12; ** p <.05), and trauma (β =.33; ** p <.01). Notably, higher education levels were associated with increased Instagram addiction, while greater psychological well-being and religiosity acted as protective factors. Conversely, trauma was linked to higher levels of Instagram addiction. These findings highlight the necessity of integrating religious teachings into interventions to address Instagram addiction and enhance well-being in Palestinian Muslim communities, especially given the socio-political context that influences social media behaviour.
