| Sumario: | Alongside that of God, which is by far the most prominent, and that of the world, the human being can also be identified as one of the central subjects in the works of Isidore of Seville, and undoubtedly the central concern of his philosophical thought. This paper compiles the principal ideas related to this topic, which appear in a fragmented manner across many texts within Isidore's magnum opus. It also incorporates aspects that have received less attention in Isidorian scholarship, presenting them as a cohesive whole in order to facilitate their understanding, dissemination, and further study. |
