| Sumario: | This quality improvement project revised competency-based clinical evaluation tools and implemented the One-Minute Preceptor model in a Master of Science Family NP program to improve consistency in clinical assessment. Four faculty (100%) and 5 preceptors (20%) completed surveys evaluating the revised tools and training. Both preceptors and faculty unanimously rated the tools as highly effective, and 75% felt very comfortable using them; all intended to apply the model. Findings indicate that combining revised evaluation tools with brief training is feasible and adoptable. • Competency-based evaluation tools were revised for NP clinical training. • Faculty and preceptors received brief One-Minute Preceptor training. • Revised tools and One-Minute Preceptor improved teaching confidence. • This QI project strengthened alignment with national standards. |
