Any new technology is ultimately integrates into a larger, more complex social and technological systems, including business firms. Developers need a comprehensive B2C implementation framework that takes into account pre- and post-implementation issues, as well as various critical success factors. Implementation of a B2C site is a complex endeavor rerquiring a good idea, a systemic appraoch, and a solid understanding of business, technology, and social issues. The firms face two important challenges with regard to B2C implementations. Firms must define their strategies for positioning their products in the marketplace.
