These actors, often socially and economically precarious, played a central role in the circulation of radical ideas by circumventing censorship and creating support networks. The study emphasizes that the material and social infrastructure of this radical thought operated according to its own logic, where collaboration and the reappropriation of texts were essential in the struggle against religious and political orthodoxy. Cet article se concentre sur les acteurs méconnus du Siècle des Lumières radicales en Allemagne entre 1770 et 1820, notamment les éditeurs, traducteurs, bibliothécaires et journalistes qui ont soutenu la diffusion clandestine d’idées déistes ou athées. Il met en lumière des figures comme Franz Heinrich Bispink, un ancien moine devenu éditeur et bibliothécaire, Christian Ludwig Paalzow, traducteur et compilateur de textes radicalement antireligieux, ainsi que Julius Friedrich Knüppeln, journaliste et écrivain engagé dans la littérature politique underground.
