| Sumario: | The pandemic has had a huge impact on the change in communication, work, and study. It has also been a challenge for students and their teachers, who have been forced to use tools and methods that were often new to them. Due to these changes, the authors of this article decided to conduct research on the evaluation of the quality of e-learning, which has become a popular form of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was based on a survey, and its respondents were students (621 students) from Polish universities. The results showed that student perceptions of e-learning depend on factors related to both the university and the student. Key issues include soft aspects of e-learning, such as the availability of lecturers for consultations, and the effective use of new technologies. A student's lack of resources or tech knowledge can negatively impact their evaluation of e-learning, regardless of the university's innovations. Therefore, it is suggested that, except in situations like a pandemic, e-learning should be a voluntary option, most effective when students have the necessary resources and skills.
