Sumario:The present study highlights the significance of liminal spaces and rites of passage in delineating the human condition, the universality of the initiatory journey, and the complex process of individual regeneration, as embodied by a liminal hero suspended between the human and divine realms. Through an analysis of the narrative structure and the symbolism underlying the stages traversed by the central character in the epic "The Odyssey", I propose an interpretation of the initiatory journey as a process of transition between worlds, through which the hero, situated in a state of marginality, becomes an agent of spiritual and cultural regeneration. The Greek concept of "nostos" encompasses the notion of return not merely to a geographical place, but also to an inner state of equilibrium and the reconstitution of the self, accompanied by suffering and learning.
