Sumario:	The article focuses on the increase in the number of school districts that provide special education services in the U.S. The author implies that it is no longer sufficient to provide isolated special education services that are differentiated according to obvious impairments, but rather a coordinated program for children with many kinds of learning problems in which pupils may be taught according to their major educational disabilities. The author also discusses the integrated program of special education.
