| Sumario: | The article discusses the impact of the introduction of microcomputers on education in the U.S. Some perceptions from the past has been justified that microcomputers are becoming commonplace in the homes, schools and marketplace. People are being confronted by new information processing accomplishments and the traditional role of the school as a source of information has quickly been becoming a thing of the past. It has been observed that microcomputers are continuously affecting educational institutions and practices. Students should be prepared to utilize computers for these machines are highly sophisticated information-processing tools and could greatly enhance the process of learning. |
