| Sumario: | The rapid growth of educational and psychological measurement in the curricula of colleges and universities has occasioned a pressing need for adequate textbook materials appropriate to the various stages of student progress. Of the many published recently to fill this gap, the author comments here on five books in terms of their unique approach, subject matter emphasis, and level of difficulty in presentation. Dr. Stanley is Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at George Peabody College for Teachers. He is the author of an article which appeared in the Fall 1951 issue of the REVIEW.
