Sumario:	The article discusses an experiment designed to study attention among mildly or moderately retarded subjects during learning of an oddity problem. The results of the experiment show that attention to the relevant dimension, demonstrated by oddity preference, plus adequate reinforcing conditions, did not ensure oddity learning. Subjects do not necessarily learn about the cues that control behavior.
