Sumario:The article illustrates the characterizations of phase transformations by in situ synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction at different pH media. The in situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction studies provide an opportunity for better control of material syntheses. Furthermore, oxygen/cation vacancies or defects, combined with Rietveld refinement, can be studied to better understand the catalytic mechanism.
