Summary:The article presents a research about the substantive aspects of children's thinking about heat and temperature. The objective of this research was to determine the reasoning and logical skills of children that is useful in both science education and other fields. The research examined children's patterns of belief on heat and temperature and its useful educational applications. The author believes that this experiment will help teachers to assess educational development and develop classroom practices that could enhance thinking ability of students.
