      ab: The article reports developments in teacher education in South Dakota. The colleges for teachers have considered stimulation in the use of the Standards and Schedules of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE). The Black Hills Teachers College was evaluated carefully by the visiting educators during the clinic the program for all colleges for teachers. The clinic acquainted all those who attended with the objectives and procedures of the Intervisitation Program and with the method of applying the Standards and Schedules of the AACTE. It also provides a inputs for self-evaluation aimed at improvement in the teacher-education programs of all institutions represented.
