| Sumario: | The article focuses on the study that shows student evaluation of college teaching behaviors instrument. Respondents of the study which include students, faculty and academic administration at a large southeastern university were asked to describe characteristics of the best and the worst college instructor they have known. Results of the study indicate a relevant rate of agreement between faculty and students as to what comprises good and bad teaching. It is suggested that a use of the Student Evaluation of College Teaching Behaviors assists the instructor and his students to select the items at the beginning of a course most suitable to reaching the course objectives of the evaluation process. |
