| Sumario: | The article discusses the utilization of microcomputers in conducting classroom diagnostic testing for students. The goal of using diagnostic tests is to identify the areas where the students have learning problems. The learning of student increases when frequently tested to ascertain their progress in the academic level. The author asserts that diagnostic testing is time consuming and so the use of microcomputers is encouraged to ease the teachers from the burden of routine classroom testing. Computers can be programmed to present the test items, check the accuracy of responses and make the records of student performance. Under this method test questions may be introduced with both words and pictures on the computer screen. |
