| Sumario: | This article discusses the developmental psychology educational programs of psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg and his associates in the U.S. These programs can be discussed in terms of structural organization, developmental sequence and interactionism. Kohlberg has taken a person's cognitive structure as the framework of value education, by which he has interpreted strong and emotional experiences. Developmental sequence depicts the course of the way by which the cognitive structures are built. The idea of interactionism is related to the process by which cognitive structures are progressively elaborated in education. Kohlberg has emphasized on the role of moral education in developing organizational structure through which social problems can be mitigated. |
