| Sumario: | The article focuses on the effective operation of a college of education in a multiuniversity. The generalist orientation helps in accomplishing the understanding of the total process of education which is not what the college of education needs to gain credibility either with the rest of the university. Universities are organized because of identified faculty specialities. The strength of the multiuniversity is to a great extent of its ability to support professors with highly developed specialities who can contribute to the state of knowledge and education through conducting research and teaching within those specialities. |
