A New Class of Mixed-Valence Systems with Orbitally Degenerate Organic Redox Centers. Examples Based on Hexa-Rhenium Molecular Prisms.
The article presents information on mixed-valence (MV) systems with orbitally degenerate organic redox centers. The most common examples of MV systems are of the type Mn-bridge, where M is a transition metal and the bridge is an organic linker. The excited-state calculations carried out for a nearly...

| Sumario: | The article presents information on mixed-valence (MV) systems with orbitally degenerate organic redox centers. The most common examples of MV systems are of the type Mn-bridge, where M is a transition metal and the bridge is an organic linker. The excited-state calculations carried out for a nearly trigonal symmetry of the model system indicate some build up of IT character and an increase in intensity for other transitions. |
