It has been noted that one of the reasons is the huge tax exemptions given to investors. Companies with expenditures of over €2 million per year are entitled to zero percent tax for the first six years and a 50% reduction in tax afterwards. The close ties between Motorola and Jagiellonian University is also considered as another reason for choosing the place. |
