| Sumario: | This article offers an understanding of the underlying characteristics of students with dyslexia. Being aware of current research about the brain and its relation to students with dyslexia is considered significant in education, and this in turn will help teachers understand and evaluate potential interventions to help dyslexic students succeed in the classroom. A definition of dyslexia is presented. There are common misunderstandings about students with reading disabilities. One of which is that writing letters and words in backward form are symptoms of dyslexia. |
