Intermolecular Activation of C—X (X = H, O, F) Bonds by a Ti≡CBu Linkage.
The article discusses the intermolecular activation of C—X (X = H, O, F) bonds by a titanium alkylidyne (Ti≡CBu) linkage. It is stated that a strong C—X bonds can be activated by a highly polarized Ti≡C linkage. Moreover, the ability of the intermediates to intermolecularly cleave aryl C—O and C—F b...

| Sumario: | The article discusses the intermolecular activation of C—X (X = H, O, F) bonds by a titanium alkylidyne (Ti≡CBu) linkage. It is stated that a strong C—X bonds can be activated by a highly polarized Ti≡C linkage. Moreover, the ability of the intermediates to intermolecularly cleave aryl C—O and C—F bonds provides an opportunity to study a novel approach surrounding the cleavage of a strong C—heteroatom linkages. |
