Sumario:The article presents a perspective on the issues surrounding the War Powers Resolution of the U.S. foreign policy. It has been noted that the joint resolution is not steadfast in affection or allegiance to its stated purposes. In addition, the resolution has not been contributive to decisive confrontation or to cooperation between the sectors. Furthermore, it has been suggested by the author that the failure of the resolution has the need to explain to a congressional misperception of what legislation could achieve.
