Summary:An essay highlighting propositions on the hermeneutics of suspicion and on writing the history of rhetoric is presented. One of the propositions on hermeneutics of suspicion mentioned holds that suspicious thinking must forever be iconoclastic. The author explains the view on hermeneutics of philosopher Karl Marx, neurologist Sigmund Freud and philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
