Laine of the Finnish societies of Science has observed that the sound waves affect the size and form of raindrops as evidenced by the varying size of rainbows during thunderstorms. A new method of sterilizing railway coaches was developed in Germany using steam, vacuum and the introduction of formaldehyde gas. A method of three color photography was developed using panchromatic emulsions and very small transparent spheroidal grains assembled by embossing gelatin. |
