Sumario:The article discusses the integration of computer video games into traditional computer science (CS) curricula. The example of the University of Southern California (USC) GamePipe Laboratory is presented, noting that the entire CS curriculum of USC was redesigned to become a comprehensive introduction to every stage of game development. The efforts of traditional CS courses to incorporate elements from computer gaming are discussed, noting the presence of gaming within introductory and elective courses.
