In teaching the child who has learning disabilities it is not enough to classify or label him. We must work towards integration of two sorts in the education of children with learning problems. First we need to integrate the child's own experiences with the school experience. Second we need to integrate the child into the regular academic class at his grade level. The question for education becomes how do we find ways that the child can learn with the tools he has and while sharpening these tools, adding others to his collection. The present paper looks at these problems and seeks some possible avenues to help such children. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: Y dt: @attributes: year: 1973 holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
