Sumario:Exhibition and publication continue to be the primary methods by which photographers and other artists reach their audience. New technologies are creating new challenges and opportunities. Web sites can function as virtual exhibitions, for example. This paper will focus on emerging print on demand (POD) options that are significantly changing access to publication and redefining the definition of self-publishing. In turn, this presents educators with new opportunities to develop curriculum to enhance editing, image sequencing, image and word interaction, design and marketing skills.
