| Sumario: | This article discusses the connection between the fiction of Argentinian author Jorges Luis Borges and Kabbalah. The author believes that Borges' style and themes are similar to Kabbalistic concepts. One such theme that occurs throughout Borges' writings involves the Kabbalistic idea that their is a universal book that has the possibility of endless interpretation. The article looks specifically at two nonfiction texts of Borges that deal with Kabbalah: "A Defense of the Kabbalah" and "The Kabbalah." Both books state the dimensions from Kabbalah that Borges is interested in. |
