The author believes that Borges' style and themes are similar to Kabbalistic concepts. One such theme that occurs throughout Borges' writings involves the Kabbalistic idea that their is a universal book that has the possibility of endless interpretation. The article looks specifically at two nonfiction texts of Borges that deal with Kabbalah: "A Defense of the Kabbalah" and "The Kabbalah."
