| Sumario: | The individual and collective learning processes have to be improved systematically in the hospitals to enable them to cope with the challenges of the future. The hypothesis is that certain requirements have to be fulfilled to make a hospital a better learning system. These requirements (e.g. data-based learning) are presented and some of the possible realizations of such general learning conditions are described. Finally the problems and shortcomings of the “learning hospital” concept are discussed. |
