In his language, Show and Tell, symbolic pictures, or icons, can be manipulated to create the logical statements of programs and subroutines. Kimura's research group has verified that fourth-grade students can use Show and Tell with little training. Kimura hopes to create an icon-based language that will allow executives and professionals to use computers without having to learn programming skills.
