The results of the 1985 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) study of multilateral purchasing power parity, which were published in August 1987, will be incorporated into the world-level project of the United Nations Statistical Office. It was decided that it would be useful to calculate bilateral purchasing power parities between the United States and Canada in 1985.
