| Summary: | A study was conducted to examine the attitudes of early childhood education and care prospective practitioners toward computers. A demographic questionnaire and the Computer Attitude Scale were both administered to a sample of 131 such prospective practitioners. The results revealed that an overwhelming majority of subjects had relatively positive attitudes toward computers and that a minority reported having neutral attitudes toward them. Having access to a home computer and having undergone formal computer training were found to be significantly related to computer attitudes. |
