| Sumario: | A special section on applied behavior analysis research in school psychology. Traditionally, school psychologists in America have played a very restricted role in the provision of school-based psychological services. Recently, however, behavior analysis has become a primary technology for the provision of psychoeducational services by psychologists in schools. The nine articles in this section showcase school-based applications of recent developments in applied behavior analysis. The first three articles cover applications of functional analysis technology to children's learning and adjustment problems; the next four discuss the outcomes of innovative and effective school-based intervention programs; and the final two articles illustrate the diversity of school-based applications possible within a behavior-analytic framework. |
