| Sumario: | A review of four packages for MS-DOS personal computers: Electronic Tables, PCalc, StaTable, and STAT-POWER. Each package produces cumulative probabilities and quantiles for the most common statistical distributions. Information is provided for each package relating to installation, contents, interface, algorithms, precision, and documentation. It is concluded that all four packages possess their strong and weak points, and that users should therefore make a choice that is adapted to their own needs and resources. |
