To make sound decisions, a broker must examine a client's shareholdings by type, quantity, value, price, volatility, and a host of other factors. The usual way of displaying all this information—a series of individual graphs that plot changes in share price—makes it hard to identify overall patterns in a portfolio's performance. Siebert, however, puts all of this information on a screen simultaneously by creating the kind of dynamic environment that is often called virtual reality. The program's operation is described. pubtype: Periodical doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: N holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
