Sumario:The writer presents an empirical examination of racial discrimination case in the U.S. Supreme Court since 1954. She utilizes two improved methods of replicating this issue, known as the bulwark thesis and the majoritarian approach. She finds some support for the basic bulwark prediction over majoritarianism, although the bulwark thesis fails to receive full support because the ideologies of the Justices also exert a significant influence on outcomes.
