Sumario:	A study was conducted to compare the differences on two behavior rating scales between scores earned by students with both learning disorders and emotional problems (LD/ED) and a carefully matched control sample. All the subjects were rated by their teachers with the Teacher Report Form of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL-TRF) and the Devereux Behavior Rating Scale-School Form (DBRS-SF). The findings indicated that the DBRS-SF Total Test standard score of the LD/ED sample was significantly greater than that of the control sample. In addition, the CBCL-TRF T-score of the mean LD/ED group was significantly greater than that of the control group. The DBRS-SF outperformed the CBCL-TRF and was consistently more accurate in the identification of individuals with emotional problems and those without.
