Sumario:The article presents an overview of the benefits and challenges that are associated with reputation systems that are used in open collaborations in academic research and in content creation, including text creation, computer document creation and computer software creation. A discussion of the ways in which content-driven reputation systems can be made resistant to many forms of bias, can be used to derive feedback from analyzing content and interactions and can be used to scale to very large computer systems, is presented.
