Summary:	The article offers the author's insights on substantivalism in General Theory of Relativity (GTR). The author notes that substantivalism is considered unproblematic in GTR because of the objection to the Hole Argument which makes assumptions on modality and determinism. He states that substantivalists denied the assumptions by endorsing anti-haecceitism. He cites other arguments with which substantivalism is vulnerable such as Newtonian view of space and Galilean view of spacetime.
