Interventions less than six hours and models encouraging conciliatory behavior toward the offender were less effective. A psychotherapeutic model resulted in greater forgiveness improvement compared to psychoeducational models. Interventions composed entirely of women participants demonstrated the greatest forgiveness improvement. Group therapy forgiveness interventions for individuals unable to forgive their transgressors seem to be empirically supported. pubtype: Academic Journal doctype: Article src: R language: English refInfo: copyright: @attributes: flag: N holdings: @attributes: islocal: N |
