| Sumario: | Infertility incidence is increasing worldwide, reporting figures ranging from 15 to 20%. In our country, the statistics show that the incidence of it is located around 15%. In the Specialty Clinic Women are not exempt from this increase, which is demonstrated by analyzing the statistics of 2011, in which you can document that, there are subspecialties, the Biology of Reproduction is the which ranks first in demand for medical consultation. In our hospital, we currently have human resources and technological resources to provide our patients highly complex treatments, according to the scientific and technological advances in the area of human reproduction, which is why we need a protocol of care for infertility patients. La incidencia de infertilidad a nivel mundial va en aumento, reportándose cifras que varían de 15 a 20%. En nuestro país, las estadísticas nos demuestran que la incidencia de la misma se ubica alrededor del 15%. En la Clínica de Especialidades de la Mujer no estamos excentos de este aumento, lo que se demuestra al analizar las estadísticas del año 2011, en las cuales se puede documentar que, de las subespecialidades que existen, la de Biología de la Reproducción es la que ocupa el primer lugar en demanda de consulta médica. En nuestro hospital actualmente contamos con los recursos humanos y tecnológicos suficientes para ofrecer a nuestras pacientes tratamientos de alta complejidad, de acuerdo con los avances científicos y tecnológicos en el área de la Reproducción Humana, motivo por el cual creemos necesario un protocolo de atención para pacientes de infertilidad. |
