Description
Summary:The article focuses on Itlay based-Olivetti SpA, one of the leading information technology company. The firm was restructuring, cutting its workforce by 40% and removing layers of management. But it was also refocusing, by trying to expand in selected businesses such as ink-jet printers. PCs account for 20% of the group's sales, but its losses on PCs are running at around 10% of the revenues the business generates.
