In accordance with this aim; were there differences in the basic human values adopted by the students based on gender? Were there differences in the basic human values adopted by the students based on their class? Were there differences in the basic human values adopted by the students based on their learning styles? What sort of distribution are the basic human values adopted by students showing in the lower dimensions of the scale? Answers to these questions were researched. The research is a descriptive survey model study. A literature review and questionnaire technique was used. During the study, the basic human values adopted by the University of Niğde, Faculty of Education, students of the Classroom Teaching program were determined. In the determination of the values, the Basic Human Values Scale developed by Schwartz (2006) was used. The questionnaire consists of 488 students, 128 of which are male and 360 are female.191 First year students, 172 second year students, 68 third year students and 57 forth year students took place in the application. The frequency distribution was analysed with a t-test and ANOVA statistic techniques. In the study, generally these results were obtained; A difference depending on class, gender and learning style was determined in the values adopted by the students. However, when the arithmetic averages of the answers the students gave to the items on the scale were analysed, it was determined that where there was a big build up in I agree and I strongly agree in the following sub dimensions; the rules, tradition, universality, self, success and trust, there was no build up in the sub dimensions for power, enjoyment and incentive. Bu araştırma Niğde Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü öğrencilerinin benimsedikleri temel insani değerlerin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; öğrencilerin benimsedikleri temel insani değerler cinsiyete göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? Öğrencilerin benimsedikleri temel insani değerler öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri sınıf derecesine göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? Öğrencilerin benimsedikleri temel insani değerler öğrencilerin öğrenim türlerine göre farklılaşmakta mıdır? Öğrencilerin benimsedikleri temel insani değerler ölçeğinin alt boyutlarına göre nasıl bir dağılım göstermektedir? Sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Araştırma tarama modeli niteliğinde olup betimsel bir çalışmadır. Literatür taraması ve anket teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında Niğde Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği programında okuyan öğrencilerinin benimsedikleri temel insani değerler belirlenmiştir. Değerlerin belirlenmesinde Schwartz (2006) tarafından geliştirlen Temel İnsani Değerler Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Anket 128 erkek ve 360 kız olmak üzere toplam 488 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. 1. Sınıftan 191, 2. Sınıftan 172, 3. Sınıftan 68 ve 4. Sınıftan 57 öğrenci uygulamaya katılmıştır. Frekans dağılımı, t-testi, ANOVA istatistik teknikleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada genel olarak şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır; Öğrencilerin benimsedikleri değerlerde sınıfa, cinsiyete ve öğretim türüne göre anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmemiştir.
