Sumario:This article aims at reflecting on the importance of Education and the teacher, as a subject of mediation and responsibility for the teaching and learning processes of children and young people. Its purpose is to reflect on the new conjuncture and debates about Education, the role of Education and learning processes, before the decrees and proposals of Home Education, which secondarily the role of the teacher in the educational context and proposes an old concept of Education, which focuses on the purpose of education to prepare competitive and individualistic subjects for the labor market. At the same time, it gives greater vulnerability to the 0-5 year old child in relation to family violence, sexual abuse and bullying. This statement is based on studies of violence against children through the "Protecting State" Program (...) funded by SECAD/MEC, which points out that the child suffers violence precisely from the person he or she trusts: a family and / or person you trust. That is why we defend the education of the child in school. For in this space she learns to live with the different realities and feels protected in this institutionalized space, called school.
