description This article aims at reflecting on the importance of Education and the teacher, as a subject of mediation and responsibility for the teaching and learning processes of children and young people. Its purpose is to reflect on the new conjuncture and debates about Education, the role of Education and learning processes, before the decrees and proposals of Home Education, which secondarily the role of the teacher in the educational context and proposes an old concept of Education, which focuses on the purpose of education to prepare competitive and individualistic subjects for the labor market. At the same time, it gives greater vulnerability to the 0-5 year old child in relation to family violence, sexual abuse and bullying. This statement is based on studies of violence against children through the "Protecting State" Program (...) funded by SECAD/MEC, which points out that the child suffers violence precisely from the person he or she trusts: a family and / or person you trust. That is why we defend the education of the child in school. For in this space she learns to live with the different realities and feels protected in this institutionalized space, called school.

For in this space she learns to live with the different realities and feels protected in this institutionalized space, called school.   Este artigo objetiva uma reflexão a respeito da importância da Educação e do professor, professora enquanto sujeitos de mediação e de responsabilidades pelos processos de ensino e aprendizagem de crianças e jovens. Tem como finalidade, a reflexão frente a nova conjuntura e debates acerca da Educação, do papel da Educação e processos de aprendizagens, diante dos decretos e propostas de Educação Domiciliar, que secundariza o papel do professor no contexto educacional e propõe uma velha concepção de Educação, que tem como centro da finalidade da Educação preparar sujeitos competitivos e individualistas para o mercado de trabalho. Ao mesmo tempo que oportuniza maior vulnerabilidade da criança de 0 a 5 anos de idade no que se refere a violência familiar, abuso sexual e assédio moral. Esta afirmação fundamenta-se nos estudos de violência contra a infância, através do Programa “Estado que Protege” (...) financiado SECAD/MEC, que aponta que a criança sofre violência justamente da pessoa que ela mais confia: a uma família e /ou pessoa de sua confiança. Por isto defendemos a educação da criança na escola. Pois, neste espaço ela aprende a conviver com as diferentes realidades e sentem-se protegidas neste espaço institucionalizado, chamado escola.
